whitewhale1965 21st Jan 2020		#15 When Violets Meet by Soft Parade. One time Dave Stewart was handed a demo cassette by the Tilburg group Soft Parade. He was enthusiastic and offered the group a contract. Sometimes things move very fast. Just Lucky? Yes, but the music is good too. Rustic songs with a very direct sound. It's no coincidence that the debut album is entitled "Puur", the Dutch word for pure. The relationship between Soft Parade and Dave Stewart developed so well that he ended up producing the album and they went on tour with his wife's group, Shakespears Sister. This track was a hit in the Netherlands.
