krobigraubart 16th Sep 2023		Reviwe by Doo Wop Gino: This CD, released by Collectables in 1994, is currently available. It contains 16 tracks recorded by Jackie and the Starlites and all 6 tracks recorded by the Bop Chords. The Starlites tracks in this package were released on the Fury, Mascot, Hull and Sphere Sound labels between 1960 and 1965. The Starlites were Jackie Rue (lead), Alton Jones (first tenor), George Lassu (second tenor), John Felix (baritone), and Billy Montgomery (bass). Some of the tracks are surprisingly good, notably both versions of For All We Know which demonstrate that Jackie Rue could sing, as well as bawl. Always liked the Bopchords - Ernest Harriston (lead), William Dailey (first tenor), Butch Hamilton (second tenor), Mickey Smarr (baritone), and Leon Ivey (bass). Pity they only recorded a total of 6 tracks - all for Danny Robinson's Holiday label. They're all here.
