gregs45s SUBS 19th Mar 2020		Not sure, might have been, although this Canadian release mentions a hidden track after track 13 and a further 2minutes of silence, at just 45 seconds long. Discobox perhaps?, unsure.

PhilMH 16th Jul 2014		Amazon Canada gives the release date as June 19, 1996 (which was a Wednesday - I Googled it), the day after the US release (confirmed by the Library of Congress copyright registration, and US new releases are traditionally on Tuesdays).



nboldock 15th Jul 2014		I saw Beck the year after this came out. It was at Glastonbury - the first time I'd been - and after a disaster-strewn hitchhiking trip that took many hours more than it should have, coupled with a lengthy walk along miles and miles of country lanes (which I thought was a shortcut), then having purchased a ticket outside (too knackered to contemplate jumping the fence by that point), I finally arrived on site, elated but exhausted. (And that's without mentioning getting soaked on the way, and being stopped and grilled by Surrey Police.) Having finally made it I was delighted to see Beck was on the Pyramid Stage. I was quite a fan at the time. So I settled down to rest my aching feet for a while (before even considering putting a tent up or finding my friends) and enjoy the show... ...and he was bloody rubbish. Bah!



camshaft 15th Jul 2014		Thanks nboldock, for the listing, only later did I get a look into Wikipedia (via a PC elsewhere on hols). Guess I will put the composers in back in UK! Cheers! Also noticed the release date of 18th June 1996 on the American DGC Records label, may be the same label for the Canadian release. Will check it out, as Geffen is mentioned, DGC and Bong Load Custom are mentioned too on the CD!

camshaft 14th Jul 2014		Nboldock, I've only got the CD, without the case or inlay/booklet, so I have no idea what tracks are on the disc. I don't think it is a promo, more of the general Canadian release. Will scan the CD when I get back to good ol' blighty!!!
