 Sony were absolute b*s*rds around this time for putting 'copy protection' on some of their releases. Either they wouldn't play on a PC/MAC at all, or they would only play through a software player which you had to install from the CD itself. Even then, it would only play at a reduced bitrate (128kb/sec). Sony quite rightly got a real shoeing over this, and stopped doing it.

 sadly, no joke.
just checked it. All songs play, but without any sound on PC.
Surely the same on MAC, but i can't test that.
1st encounter with such a disc, so i have no idea, even tried to rip it, but with no luck.

 Front of booklet says "will not play on PC/MAC".
What sort of cruel joke is this?!
