nboldock 28th Apr 2014		This was one of the first jazz albums that I actually enjoyed - I always claimed I hated jazz but when I heard this (and also Miles Davis's "Kind Of Blue"), I realised I may been a little hasty... this is ace.



fixbutte 28th Apr 2014		John Coltrane's hymnic long suite belongs to the most praised jazz recordings of all time, often listed among the greatest albums ever released. It has always been a favorite of mine since I first heard it in 1976 as the intensive background music of a spectacular performance by the Laterna Magika, the nonverbal theatre located in Prague. It was one of the very few jazz albums that I owned as an LP, and it also belonged to the first CDs that I purchased.
