 A Love Supreme was recorded by the John Coltrane Quartet, consisting of
John Coltrane (soprano & tenor saxes)
McCoy Tyner (piano)
Jimmy Garrison (bass)
Elvin Jones (drums)
on the "Festival Mondial du Jazz Antibes" in Juan-les-Pins, France, on July 26, 1965.

Impressions was recorded one day later at the same place with the same personnel.

P.S. If your mini disc of Kind Of Blue has the whole album (or most of it), it belongs here without doubt.

 I managed to get this off ebay for £1.56 inc postage, it arrived today in great condition (mint).
A fine set, here recorded live, in Antibes in 65, it doesn't give the personnel sadly, but both bass and drums get plenty of room for artistic creativity. It is i suppose a "live" recording, although there's only applause at the end of each set (sound quality is excellent). I bought this after seeing the Digipak version posted here, thanks for the heads-up, great stuff!. PS. I have a mini-disc of "Kind Of Blue", any polite suggestions as to where i might stick it?:)
