fixbutte 2nd Jun 2014		As quoted on the page for ABBA's The Visitors, I stand corrected here too. Blue Polar silkscreen label CDs actually came out as early as 1983. As found on that old discussion, Polar CDs were made by PolyGram in West Germany, but probably not only for Sweden but for the international market, until about 1987 when the Polar label was phased out outside the domestic Swedish market.



fixbutte 14th Apr 2014		This CD was definitely not made in 1982 (no CDs available outside of Japan in 1982) but possibly in 1983 like it was copyrighted on the disc of its first issue (now corrected that way). The mentioned "blue silk-screen label" CD, however, came some years later (at least until the late 1980s all CDs were printed with a plain black-on-silver appearance).
