Disc2 tracks 1-15 (mono), 16-20 mono mixes, mostly for singles, 17 previously unreleased; 21 with doubled vocals recorded 11/66, orchestral overdubs 2/67
Disc3 tracks 1, 4, 6-10, 13, 14, 17, 19-22 previously unreleased, 2, 11, 12 & 15 only previously released on the merkin great lost kinks album, 3 & 5 have previously only seen merkin release in stereo; 16 & 18 "probably recorded march 1969" (much of pye records' archives has been lost, presumed destroyed).
Doug Hinman is credited for his kinks kronikle, _the kinks - all day and all of the night_ (backbeat books, 2004), for much of the copious recording data in the 20pp incl. cvrs triple cd package's booklet.
