SHM-CD Mini LP.
Repro of Spanish edition of the album, Sister Morphine replaced by Let it Rock and of course the now classic treacle cover.
2009 Remasters except Let it Rock 2015.
RE: Sticky Fingers UICY-79241K 23.7.7.
Have checked disc label , the cat number does not appear on disc face as on the 4th Dec 2020 release ( this page) but it is printed on the outer rim in full with the ' K ' added, which suggests that the 10 CD July issues were specifically made for other markets with the correct OBI.
So once again are the 2023 releases to be classed as Japanese or Europe etc or possibly Japan export pressings?
Kei has added a link to Universal store Japan for original 2019 Time waits for no one.
Also I can confirm that the 10 UK 23.7.7 releases also have K on cat numbers.
Sticky Fingers ( Zip version )
UICY-79241K. Bar code 6 00753 91600 1. ( Only on new OBI ).
Headache here too.
These were global reissues of Original, Japanese releases Made in Japan, I'm forming the opinion that Universal were initially using excess stock , although from Kei's comment below Japan issues would have different Barcode.
There is a comment on this site for Time waits for no one from a Japanese member Kei , he purchased his copy from Amazon Japan ( Different Barcode )so were these 5 issues actually available for general sale in Japan again ?
The set of 10 Japanese made SHM-CD studio albums released in UK earlier this year do have correct release dates on OBIs 7th July 2023. 23.7.7
Appear to be Japan made for other export markets, but can they be classed as Europe , UK etc releases, as on a production manufacturing level Discs, sleeves and quality they are entirely Japanese made.
Lot of questions.
Resume:
These aren’t Japanese releases, but have an additional K after the cat# and a different barcode (seen on OBI only). The release date on OBI isn’t correct for “K” edition
If you throw away the OBI you have an original Japanese cd with a missing OBI… gives me a headache
That was the Original Japanese release , this album and the other four in this series ( 04.12.2020 UK and Europe? issues ) were then given a wider release by Polydor / Universal
As far as I can ascertain the OBIs are for original Japan issues.
