Ooops, apologies for the extra work created. This was the last scan (earlier) that i posted before packing up the scanner and taking a trip to PC World,it had started to develop faint tram lines,so i thought it was time to change it.Originally i was going to swap it 'like for like' with no charge, but decided to get the next model up,£25 later (an extra £10 for the hike up to the next model, and £15 for a three year guarantee:).The guarantee paperwork says "you are entitled to as many exchanges as needed within a 3 year period",well as scanners seem to be only lasting me about 6 months, that could come in very handy!.Have encountered another J.L.Hooker CD that might need your attention,"MR.Lucky".

I'd say Pointblank is preferable because it's on the spines and more prominently on the booklet, back cover and disc. I'll change that and add Virgin America as second label. The cat# is a mystery though. It looks like the barcode digits make the cat# outside of the UK, so I 'll create a second cat# too.

I was wondering about that. That does look a lot neater.

Oh... and the label... I'm thinking it ought to be "Pointblank"?

Besides, different sources name different featured artists: this one says [11] featuring: Carlos Santana, Chester Thompson, [12] featuring: Ry Cooder, Ike Turner, that one says [4] featuring Van Morrison & Booker T. Jones. The cover also lists Charles Brown as a featured artist.

Hi gregs78s, I agree with nboldock. Like on similar cases, however, I moved all the "featuring" artist credits to the record notes where they belong in my eyes. This is mainly a John Lee Hooker CD, see packaging, with several supporting partners, not actually a various artists collaboration album. All the newly created artists for one-song collaborations, though they can be linked, make things much more confusing on 45worlds CD Albums.

I'd go with what it says on the packaging (though we can't see the detail as yet).

If it creates a new artist we can do links as necessary, etc etc...

Be good to see what it actually says in the booklet.

For future reference, which of the two is correct? :
1/ John Lee Hooker Featuring Ry Cooder
2/ John Lee Hooker Feat. Ry Cooder
