7th Order
Artist

7th Order is an American progressive rock & roll band, their first recording sessions took place in December 2001. The band has, at various times, been joined by veteran British guitarist Martin Pugh (formally of the 60's British band, Steamhammer, as well as Armageddon with The Yardbirds vocalist Keith Relf, and "The Rod Stewart Album" with Ron Wood & Keith Emerson), drummer Tim Kelliher (of Randy Hansen's Machine Gun), and legendary American rock guitarist Geoff Thorpe (of Vicious Rumors). Reviewers have recognized their particular sound as reminiscent of blues-rock bands like The Rolling Stones & The Yardbirds, with progressive undertones ala Led Zeppelin.

Their worldwide radio debut, a track titled "The Lake of Memory", (also the title of their first CD release) took place in August 2003. After touring & recording in North America through 2006, the band relocated back to their home base in Hawaii.

Their follow up EP, "Road to Yerevan", was released in 2011. After more live work, and with their 10th anniversary coming up - band leader Daniel Jones began compiling a career retrospective "mixed media" CD to be titled "The Initiate's Journey, 2003-13". The disc's release was announced in June 2015 - in addition to including well known 7th Order favorites like "The Lake of Memory", "Road to Yerevan" and "Force Of Nature Comes Down" - the disc also includes video clips, interviews, broadcasts, MP3s, song lyrics, ringtones and more.

As of October 16th, 2015 - "The Initiate's Journey, 2003-13" had propelled 7th Order to the #1 slot on the Reverbnation.com charts, for Hawaii based bands.

As of June 2020, Daniel Jones of 7th Order has been hosting a weekly rock and roll radio show, "The Volcano Chronicles" - now heard on KNKR 96.1 FM on the Big Island of Hawaii.(which has on occasion featured special guests like Charlie Musselwhite, Jon Anderson, Gene Parsons, Linda Gail Lewis, Deborah Bonham, Richie Furay, Rick Wakeman, Fito de la Parra among other well known artists).

Linda Ronstadt
Artist

American singer and musical polymath (born 1946) who rose to fame in the 1970s initially in the country field, and later rock with hits such as Desperado, You're No Good and Tumbling Dice. After attaining superstar status (and becoming one of the first solo female singers to reach "stadium attraction" level), Ronstadt began to diversify her musical output in the 1980s and 1990s, performing in the operas Pirates of Penzance (also made into a film) and La Boheme; recording avant garde vocals for Philip Glass, and recording a trilogy of "Great American Songbook" big band albums with Nelson Riddle. This was followed by another trilogy of non-English language music celebrating her Mexican heritage, while at the same time she also recorded several albums of songs with Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris titled Trio and had several major pop hit duets with Aaron Neville and Peabo Bryson. In later years she segued to jazz and also recorded a Christmas album and an album of pop classics rearranged as lullabies. The onset of ill health forced her to retire from recording and touring, but in the late 2010s and early 2020s interest in her music was revived by an acclaimed documentary. She has also written two memoirs.
