GEMSMFAN 10th Jun 2018		CD Album John Williams / The London Symphony Orchestra - Star Wars (1983)	@ gregs45s: OK, well it is the only RSO to be added as, Germany... I've added several RSO's and made them all Europe. Same is true for the Polydor's.. pressed in Hanover, but not necessarily Germany. @PhilMH: the U.S. had no plants in the early going... first was DADC in Terre Haute, IN... and they started with CBS label pressings.. not necessarily all for the U.S.A.

GEMSMFAN 13th Apr 2018		CD Album Various Artists - Poison Ivy – Gems From The ATCO Vaults 1959-1962 (2013)	I mixed up the numbers. Don't know how I came up with Track 07 which has the correct track. I meant Track 15 is reversed with Track 02 on my copy (disc 1). Track 02 on my copy is "Poison Ivy" and Track 15 is "Besame Mucho, Pt. 1" I apparently have a mispressed CD. It could be the problem was corrected and I got a CD that got through QC.

GEMSMFAN 20th Mar 2018		CD Album Various Artists - Poison Ivy – Gems From The ATCO Vaults 1959-1962 (2013)	If you own this 3 CD set. Please check disc 1. Two "The Coasters" tracks are reversed. Track 2 "Besame Mucho, Pt.1" is really Track 7 and Track 7 "Poison Ivy", is Track 2. Atleast it is, on the set I own. Maybe, One Day Music corrected this. Was curious where the writing credits came from? My set doesn't include them. There is no booklet.. just sleeve Notes by Brian Parks. I will say the discs aren't easy to remove from the clear trays.

GEMSMFAN 20th Feb 2018		CD Album Céline Dion - All The Way...A Decade Of Song (1999)	not Canadian release... possibly UK since on "Epic".. has LC=Label Code, which Canada doesn't use and Rights Societies, which in this case looks like SACEM, a French Right Society. Canadian releases usually were on "Columbia".. note other Canadian releases submitted.
GEMSMFAN 28th Jan 2018		CD Album Little River Band - Greatest Hits (2000)	the back of the CD insert photo shows the group performing on the American latenight music show, Burt Sugarman's, The Midnight Special. The large red neon letters behind performers was a well-known signature backdrop for the program usually when performing on one of the two side stages. Track 04, is not the original 1981 version with Glenn Shorrock's vocals, but a "Revisited" version with lead vocals by bandmate/musician, Wayne Nelson. Track 11 is a "brass enhanced" version with Glenn Shorrock's vocals

GEMSMFAN 21st Oct 2017		CD Album Carole King - Thoroughbred (1998)	all printed paper looks like it was done on a laser printer. the back inlay usually has a perforated fold to the spines. note, bar code with numbers only printed on back inlay. only "bars" on the disc label and inside the insert. Bar code is for the U.S. 1991 CD release and copyright has "Sony Music Entertainment (UK) Ltd." on back inlay... note often that same information would be printed on the insert back. No catalog number printed anywhere. Label is painted on disc, but off center, noticable at the clear CD ring.

GEMSMFAN 25th Aug 2017		CD Album Foreigner - Records (1995)	release year definitely isn't 1982, infact this is probably mid-90's as it has a colored Atlantic label.. earlier WEA Mfg Inc. discs had reflective with red/black outer rim, red Atlantic logo at left. This is a reissue of 7 80999-2 which I submitted (Target), but there is one with what I described above.
