GEMSMFAN 6th Apr 2014		CD Album Agnetha Fältskog - Agnetha Fältskog (1999)	lorangrecords: try explaining that to OrbitCat,... the unusual bar code which really isn't one (because these CD's weren't sold in stores), are what would claim to make it a "bootleg", even though they were legitimate issues.
GEMSMFAN 5th Apr 2014		CD Album Agnetha Fältskog - Agnetha Fältskog (1999)	Bootleg? I somehow don't think so, but I guess it stands when you don't know enough about a release. The only pages in the booklet that weren't scanned, were the lyric pages. I guess, a pretty nice bootleg!
GEMSMFAN 4th Apr 2014		CD Album Agnetha Fältskog - Agnetha Fältskog Vol. 2 (2000)	Supposedly, this was privately released with the OK.. but if they want "bootleg", so be it I've got the Swedish version of "Jesus Christ Superstar" with Agnetha, also on this label. I believe the Dutch fan club got the OK.. the recordings are great.
GEMSMFAN 4th Apr 2014		CD Album The Beatles - First (1985)	the photo used for the booklet is incorrect. Pete Best, not Ringo, was the drummer when these recordings were made. This CD was later reissued with a correct photo.
GEMSMFAN 4th Apr 2014		CD Album Neil Sedaka - Waking Up Is Hard To Do (2009)	Neil Sedaka created a children's CD with parodies of his songs.
GEMSMFAN 4th Apr 2014		CD Album Neil Sedaka - My Friend (1986)	Tracks from Sedaka's revived 70's career. Track 12 although not as credited is a duet by Neil and his daughter, Dara. Used [] to indicate this is additional information Track 02 has Elton John on background vocals. Track 16 is the later "slow version" Worth noting: CD was dedicated to Howard Greenfield, long time writing partner. Sedaka and Greenfield grew up together in Brooklyn.
GEMSMFAN 2nd Apr 2014		CD Album Anni-Frid Lyngstad - Frida Ensam (1991)	Polar after the PolyGram takeover. Has a PolyGram format catalog number. reflective silver disc with blue Polar logo and text.
GEMSMFAN 28th Mar 2014		CD Album The Beatles - Live In Hamburg '62 (1986)	One of the odd CD releases that surfaced before the official EMI recordings would grace the CD bins (a year later). Not sure if The Beatles did Hamburg in 1962, wasn't it 1961? Maybe these were BBC recordings?

GEMSMFAN 28th Mar 2014		CD Album The Beatles - Only The Beatles...	What would be interesting is to see if any other CDs exist in this catalog number sequence. if there are, check the CD matrices. Quite often, the catalog numbers appear somewhere. The CD matrix number doesn't include that here. I will say, if it is a bootleg.. and I think it is, they did a nice job. I read the link info on the tape and clearly though that was a legit release... it wasn't approved and the promotion must have been quickly eliminated, making the tape rare and collectable.
GEMSMFAN 27th Mar 2014		CD Album The Beatles - Ticket To Ride (1990)	how is the sound quality on one of these? At Beatles concerts the music was always drowned out by excessive screaming. I imagine anyone who attended one would know, you went home not hearing not because of the music, but because the screaming was SO loud.

GEMSMFAN 27th Mar 2014		CD Album The Beatles - Only The Beatles...	if it's legitimate, it's amazing how a promotion could predate all the hype to release The Beatles internationally on CD. That is, their actual EMI studio recordings OR maybe the release year is incorrect.
