gregs45s SUBS 16th May 2022		CD Album David Gilmour - Live In Gdańsk (2008)	There appears to be two issues here, although they both share the same Cat.No/barcode, one is image 2331847, and all the Discs shown, they all have the Parlophone logo, whereas image 848576 has the EMI logo instead, i have this one, and can confirm that all of the Discs have the EMI logo where the Parlophone logo is on the other copy. The only difference i can find is that the EMI version has "Bonus Content Via Internet" (see back) Whether you want to separate them i'm not sure, as technically, there's a label difference (Cat.No. and barcode are the same i think, although there is no scan of any spines to check.)

gregs45s SUBS 13th May 2022		CD Album Jim Reeves - Jim Reeves (Live) (1994)	Are you trying out a new lay-out?, only, i have to say, if this is permanent i'm not a fan already. The thing that separates this site from others is that you get to see your entries added in realtime, and you get to see any comments in realtime. I don't understand the logic of putting the worlds above the comments so you have to scroll up and down everytime you want to see any new additions?, people will soon get fed up of this surely? It's a great site as it is (pretty:) please, leave it as it was (if it ain't broke....:)

Ha Ha, yes, CD marketing is a world unto itself, with many packaging "gimmicks", you wouldn't think that just adding a slipcover/sticker would make much difference collectability-wise, but it seems that the HMV version is already attracting a premium over the standard issue. Go figure;)
gregs45s SUBS 9th May 2022		CD Album Ice [Industrial] - Under The Skin (1993)	MODS : I wasn't sure what you want to do here regarding bands with the name "Ice", as, looking at 45cat/Discogs there appear to be at least 8-10 bands using that name. The other Ice currently on CD Albums World is the UK 60's group so perhaps re-name that one "Ice (UK 60's)" and this one "Ice (UK 90's)"? (I'll leave it in your capable hands)

(it may contain the CD shown here, but the outer packaging, and the allocation of a new Cat.No. makes it warrant it's own entry)

gregs45s SUBS 26th Apr 2022		CD Album Matt Berry - Music For Insomniacs (2014)	Happy :) I never realised before i got this CD today that Matt Berry was a musician as well as being a great comedy actor, respect is due!. This one, is a tongue-in-cheek nod to Vangelis/JMJarre i think, with a fine photo of Matt "sat amongst his synths", a-la-Vangelis/Jarre (and many others;) "Matthew Charles Berry Profile: Born in May 2, 1974, Bromham, Bedfordshire, England, Matt Berry is an actor and musician best known for his roles on the British sitcoms The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, and more recently internationally as Lazlo on the FX vampire comedy series What We Do in the Shadows, based on the New Zealand comedy film of the same name. Along with Rich Fulcher, he created and starred in the cult comedy series Snuff Box, which featured songs written and composed by Berry. He also wrote the 2004 parody rock opera AD/BC for BBC Three. As well as an actor, Matt also has a very colourful musical career and has released 10 albums, most of which through the label 'Acid Jazz'. The majority of his music is self composed, but every now and then, he has input from his band, 'The Maypoles', who also perform live on Matt's concerts. His most famous song is 'Take My Hand', as used in 'Snuff Box' during the Elton John sketch, and in 'Toast Of London', as the main theme. His theme to 'Snuff Box' was also featured very briefly in the blockbuster movie 'Dredd' and was covered by the American R&B artist 'Geno Washington'. Berry's music style varies from progressive rock, to experimental folk, all tied together with an electronic feel, with various reoccurring melodies in some songs. His inspiration comes from musicians such as 'Jean-Michel Jarre' and 'Vangelis', who he played as a cameo on 'Shooting Stars'.
