gregs45s SUBS 21st Sep 2024		CD Album David Gilmour - Luck And Strange (2024)	Apparently the textless logo (that looks like the CBS logo) is "Sony Records Int'l", so, have gone with that, although "Sony Music Labels Inc." is on the artwork, but happy if you want to change it as you see fit. A real family affair on this one, with children Charlie, Romany and Gabriel all contributing in some way with either lyrics, main vocals or backing vocals, Harp (Romany), and with most of the lyrics co-written by his wife Polly. This is a good album IMHO, with more variation than his previous offering, 8/10 (Sound quality is amazing on this Blu-ray, particularly the guitar solo's)

gregs45s SUBS 6th Sep 2024		CD Album Stevie Ray Vaughan And Double Trouble - Live At Montreux 1982 And 1985 (2001)	"By the summer of 1982, Stevie Ray Vaughan was already a veteran of the Southern blues circuit. Desperately searching for his big break, he was asked to play "Blues Night" at the annual Montreux Jazz Festival in Montreux, Switzerland. Playing like his life depended on it, Stevie put on a fiery performance-full of future SRV classics like "Pride And Joy" and "Love Struck Baby". The Audience could have cared less. Every song Stevie played was greeted by an increasing wave of boos and hisses and he left the stage bewildered and heart-broken. As fate would have it, this would be the most important single show Stevie ever played. In attendance at the festival were two figures who would prove instrumental in Stevie's subsequent rise to stardom: David Bowie and Jackson Browne. They immediately recognised Stevie's raw talent and limitless passion. As a result, Jackson Browne offered Stevie the opportunity to record (free of charge) at his own studio-the tapes that would be "Texas Flood"-Stevie's first studio album for Epic Records. In Addition, Stevie was asked to play on Bowie's hugely successful "Let's Dance" album and tour. Three years later, when Stevie was invited back to headline "Blues Night" at the festival, the crowd, now familiar with Stevie's songs and albums treated him like the conquering hero. And Stevie again played like his life depended on it-because, as we all came to recognise and respect, that was the only way he knew how."

Discs bronze with age) but this is not that,it's a specific Gold Disc issue. (booklet and rear tray art matches scans shown exactly)

I bought my copy at a record fair a while ago, and, i honestly thought there was no OBI, but, pleasantly suprised on looking in the artwork to find both the OBI and lyric fold-out (happy:). Looking at the colour of the green on my copy though, it looks like it might be sun faded (on the front cover/OBI, the back of the booklet and the rear tray artwork matches the green on kab2112's scans) the correct green for the front is on kab2112's scans i think. (i've also put in a request to change the date to 21st Dec 1988, as kei masaru has commented, as that's what's on the back.) (This is the first Japanese release of Pet Sounds)
