kab2112 SUBS 16th Jun 2021		CD Album JJ Cale - Roll On (2009)	I have some CDs where he is named as J.J. Cale - no spaces after the full stops [letter J] . I always put the name as printed on the item. If it's the same artist using a slightly different layout, the it can be dealt with by mods as wiith this item. I have not come across him using all lower case lettering which was the point I was addressing.

Different rules for some countries, and these are standard retail items in some places. We've had discussions in the past about bootleg Vs unofficial releases and the general consensus was that there is a difference.

kab2112 SUBS 31st Jan 2021		CD Album The Big Three - Cavern Stomp (2009)	Review About 1963 -64 I used to go on organised bus trips to Liverpool on Saturdays, every six weeks or so. We would leave Caernarfon about 930am and depart Liverpool about 10pm. Three of us used to go to the Cavern Club, The Iron Door Club and other similar venues, depending who was playing and if we could get in. We got to know some of the regular “Cave Dwellers” and “The Big 3” had the reputation of being among the very best playing there and packed them in. When they were on, we just couldn’t get in. They were recorded live at the Cavern and released an E/P which was very good. It appears on this CD. They also made a few singles that were minor hits. Their drummer, Johnny “Hutch” Hutchinson sat in with the Beatles a few times before Ringo joined. It was rumoured that he was offered a permanent place with them. This CD has all of their known recordings from this era. Most are cover versions as they did not write very much of their own stuff. kab2112 SUBS 6th Dec 2020		CD Album Various Artists - Ghost Riders In The Sky (2009)	Here are 82 versions of "Ghost Riders In The Sky" including the 1948 original by Stan Jones.Also included are other stars who had hits with this song, including the instrumental versons. There are also two novelty versions on disc 2.- 84 tracks in all.
kab2112 SUBS 3rd Dec 2020		CD Album Various Artists - Apaches With Dark Eyes Who Walk Don't Run (2010)	I've stil got a few of these bootleg compilation CDs that were given to me (in exchange) by a guy I used to know (now sadly passed) He played guitar in groups from about 1960 onwards and loved the instrumentals (Shadows, Ventures etc) I don't know if he was the compiler, but four of us used to exchange bootleg CDs & DVDs on a one for one basis. Not done that for a few years now.

Not heard of them before but took a big chance for 33p. Gave it a spin this morning and liked it. will definitely play this one again (and agian)
