Petula Clark - Living For Today (2017)
"The Rainbow" is actually a new song written by Petula and Tony Hatch, who wrote most of her hits from the 1960s. It's easily confused with "Look to the Rainbow," from the 1968 film Finian's Rainbow.

Petula redid "Look to the Rainbow" in 1998.

Here's "Living for Today." These will probably be Petula's final recordings in a career that spanned more than 60 years.

Various Artists - Jazzy Funky New Orleans (1999)
The James Booker tracks are covers from the Duke-Peacock catalog. "Hold My Hand" was recorded as "Just to Hold My Hand" by Clyde McPhatter in 1957. "Next Time You See Me" is a Junior Parker track, also from 1957.

Various Artists - Jazzy Funky New Orleans (1999)
Collection of tracks by New Orleans artists drawn mostly from Great Southern, Hep'Me, and associated labels. The James Booker tracks appear to be unreleased Peacock recordings. "Ray J" is not the well-known singer of that same name. "Candy Phillips" is actually Chris Kenner; "Timber" is from Atlantic 2240. Cover and rear photos are of Porgy Jones.

Dr. John - The Atco / Atlantic Singles 1968-1974 (2015)
This CD collects the tracks released as singles, promos, and EPs during Dr. John's tenure with Atco Records from 1968 to 1974. If you have the albums from that period, then you have all but a few of the tracks. The rarities appearing here for the first time on digital are:

Mono version of "The Patriotic Flag-Waiver" (misspelled as "Flag Waver" in CD listing)
Mono two-part version of "I Walk on Guilded Splinters" (misspelled as "Gilded" in CD listing)
Single edit of "Iko Iko"
"Wang Dang Doodle," a 1972 single-only release
"A Man of Many Words," a Buddy Guy track (Dr. John plays piano)

Rear cover lists "The Patriotic Flag Waver" as the short version but the booklet lists the long version, which is how it appears on the disc.

"Big Chief," credited in the notes to "Quezerque Gaines," was written by Earl KIng.

Worth having if you're looking to complete your collection of Dr. John's formative period.

Petula Clark - Blue Lady: The Nashville Sessions (1995)
Tracks 11-13 were released on ABC-Dunhill singles in 1974 with production by Phil Gernhard and Tony Scotti. The rest, produced by Chips Moman, were planned for the cancelled album Blue Lady. The LP had been assigned catalog number ABCD 949 and scheduled for a mid-1976 release.

Aaron Neville - For The Good Times: The Allen Toussaint Sessions (2014)
Thanks for the info, Hideki, but tracks 8, 9, and 22 did not appear on the listed 45's. "Mojo Hannah" and "Hercules" are the alternate mixes from nearly every Neville compilation, while "Over You" is a re-recording.

Allen Toussaint - The Lost Sessions (2011)
I don't have this CD, but "Hercules" and "Fairchild" are likely not the originally released versions. The original single mix of "Fairchild" has never been reissued, while the original 45 mix of "Hercules" is found only on the compiliations Aaron Neville Gold and Treacherous. All other compilations, to my knowledge, contain an alternate mix.

Professor Longhair - New Orleans Piano (1989)
Atlantic released three singles from the 1949 sessions on 78 RPM only, and "Tipitina" / "In the Night" on both 78 and 45 in 1954. All are posted here and on 45cat. The other titles remained in the can until 1972.

Expanded version of the 1972 vinyl compilation. CD was never released in the US or included in the 2009 Apple reissues, so several of Hopkin's single tracks are not currently available commercially.

Irma Thomas - Full Time Woman (2014)
PhilMH, Irma agrees. As far as she's concerned, the "lost" album should have stayed lost. She didn't even know about the disc until asked about it at a record store. Atlantic was trying to make her sound like Diana Ross. Big mistake. The first three tracks, produced by Wardell Quezergue, are by far the best on the disc. See more on Irma's reaction here.

Charly CD's often get knocked for sound quality, but somehow they find photographs I've never seen before. This CD is a case in point.

Aaron Neville - For The Good Times: The Allen Toussaint Sessions (2014)
Content was apparently changed at last minute. Bill Dahl's notes reference two tracks not on CD; front blurb says "25 Classic Tracks" but disc actually contains 22. Lineup on back is correct. Record on cover is either photoshopped or bootlegged since "Hercules" never appeared on Sansu. Tracks 1-14 are both sides of all Neville singles released between 1968 and 1977; see discography on 45cat. "Hercules" and "Mojo Hannah" appear in the now common alternate versions with different mixes from the original singles. "Tell It Like It Is" is a 1976 re-recording in the style of which Neville typically performs the song.

Various Artists - The Deesu Records Story (2014)
The name "Deesu" comes from the French "dix sous," meaning "ten cents." Warren Lee's "Star Revue" appears with an extended ending. Instead of fading out at 2:20 like the original single, it continues to 2:58. Sound quality on most tracks is as on previous releases; that is, often murky since masters are long lost. Notes by Bill Dahl are good, but booklet contains no release dates or composer information; see entries for individual singles on 45cat. Eldridge Holmes tracks "Now That I've Lost You," "Where Is Love," and "A Love Problem" are Toussaint-Sehorn productions released on Decca.
