Magic Marmalade 17th Dec 2021		CD Album Status Quo - Rock 'Til You Drop (1991)	Looks like this entry may have been jijacked form original entry maker, who also supplied original images on Mercury - can't tell but I suspect this entry has been edited to conform to new images on Vertigo. If the Mercury entry for these images is not already on site, and anyone has a mind to make that entry, please do so, and the images will be moved there. But please take care not to simply adjust any existing entries to suit images you may have. Someone else has gone to the trouble of making the original entry, and with images that conform to the details they have entered or vice versa, and it's a little dispiriting to see it taken over or hijacked. In this case, I do not suggest you're at fault Quad (mainly for the benefit of others here), as the log shows many hands editing this entry so I think it best to leave this as the Vertigo page, but it is preferable to make new entries for new images / issues. Thank You for your cooperation :)

Had to take the track listing for "Fastest Guitar Alive" from the back cover scan, as the disc scan is not here... (You accidentally uploaded to of the Gibson disc :) ...So if that disc scan could be popped up, I'll put it in place. As back cover shows cat number as stated as gm'sr said, I'll keep it there (The barcode is the same as what you said Phil, so that number is present in any event), also changed to International. If anyone fancies checking for any final errors I might have made, or any other quibbles, then we'll call this a job :)

So... not confusing at all :(

I am, of course minded to keep this one here, as it was first entered, but as you say, Quad has made the new entry (with lots of work in it!), mostly, I suspect, at my suggestion, so I am kind of responsible for causing Quad extra work there. (Sorry everyone!) So what I will say is this: Moving content from one entry to the other is easy to do, so that's not an issue (Including ownership, notes, and other details), so I'll open it to suggestion as to the best course of action... keep this or the new one?

Collsrt made the original entry, and has supplied one image with a cat number on it, which looks different to that on Quad's image. I think you have two separate items here, and the original details may have been correct before someone changed them. Looking at Collsrt's image, the cat looks like: 060257138899 (it is small, and difficult to read, admittedly). So I suggest a new entry needs to be made for Qaud's images, and this returned to what Collsrt origianally entered. This is his entry, after all.

Magic Marmalade 6th Oct 2021		CD Album DRC Music - Kinshasa One Two (2011)	I think I now have way too much of everything! ...Been moving some stuff out to the charity shops if it's not rare or valuable, once I've listened to it, but it's about the hunting for me... the looking and the finding, that's the thrill for me... (That, and it gets me outta tha house, and among the people = exercise + being socially connected) ...Consequently, I tend to accumulate lots of stuff which then gets lost in boxes all over the place. Plenty I haven't had a chance to put up on site yet (Including a recent find of a Spice Girls Wannabe Japanese promo CD... which I figure will pay for a new scanner soon :) (I generally have no urge to zig-a-zig... ah, or otherwise... but I do like money, so maybe a sympathetic set of circumstances there :D Regard this... If they played this kind of thing in the supermarket, I'd be a much happier shopper, and would fairly bounce along the isles, as opposed to feeling like I'm being slowly anesthetised by cold, dry air conditioning, and cold, dry muzak!

Having found this in a charity shop yesterday, and bought it just to round out my goldfrapp collection, I realise only now that I look (very hard) at it tonight, that this is an SACD package! It's an odd one too... It's in a single CD super jewel case, not a double swing out case, and the DVD is simply loaded under the "CD". The sticker on the front only indicates the presence of the DVD, which has a 5.1 version of the album, but gives no clue whatsoever that the "CD"is in fact SACD... ... As such I see a couple listed on eBay only saying CD + DVD, not SACD +DVD! -how many therefore, are aware that they have an SACD?- Consequently, it's very cheaply bought for an SACD, and the package as a whole including, as it does, the 5.1 DVD version, represents great value! ... Or does it? ... Because surely the 5.1 DVD renders the SACD redundant? .... And this must be why this is the only goldfrapp album available this way. Given that Sony messed up the launch of the SACD format originally, by evidently forgetting to tell anyone they were doing it, and that they then mothballed it for at least the duration of 2004, the "relaunch", in this way, just seems to have compounded the error. A quick search on discogs for - "SACD mute 2005" reveals what I expected, that a couple more releases by them in that year also seem to conceal SACD in CD clothing...a couple of Depeche mode albums, and a Can album... All sporting stickers without mention of SACD. Only the copyright text on the back mentions SACD, as well as the tiny "techno-pretzel" SACD symbol, which you have to really squint to see! Chances are, a few people may have these albums, without realising they have an SACD version!

BR's front has ghost stripes from scanner, but is right colour. Yours is yellow around the edges. So in fairness to BR, I'll leave his up top for now (perhaps if you edit yours colour wise, I'll move it then).
