musicmasters 27th Jul 2019 | | CD AlbumUltravox - Vienna | I reckon my copy is even earlier - UK issued with same cat. no. - no bar code and says "Made In West Germany by PDO" ... possibly the first issue on cd? - I believe it dates to around 1985?

musicmasters 20th Dec 2018 | | CD AlbumVarious Artists - The Beat Goes On (1998) | bought this great box set in 1999 - it's taken me 19 years to find it again .... now finally ripped to mp3s on my pc - of course when I first had it, mp3 files were still a new thing and hard drives were small
wonder how well this would sell now with one of the cover stars ....

musicmasters 13th Nov 2014 | | CD AlbumU2 - How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb (2004) | Official release date was 22nd November 2004, although my copy was purchased on 11th November 2004
Two stickers on the cd case - one states "Includes the hit single 'Vertigo' CIDU 214/986782-8"
The other is a holographic silver sticker stating "Special Edition".
The cd tray is an extremely glossy black plastic - maybe this is the "Special Edition" to which they refer?
In the centre next to the cat. no. the words "Miss You Sugar" are stamped - similar to a run out groove message on a record - I've not seen this on any other cds.

musicmasters 20th Sep 2014 | | CD AlbumFreddie Mercury - Mr. Bad Guy (1985) | my copy initially appears identical, however on close inspection of the CD, it only has the numbers "342" in the silver part of the disc - this indicates to me that mine is a bootleg.
I've had it for over 20 years, and only paid about £8 at the time, so I suspected as much.
Real copies, like the one in the picture, have the catalogue number in the silver of the disc around the centre hole.
Be aware there are quite a few bootlegs out there - however the quality of the disc is as good as a real one, as are the paper inserts - well they are on mine.
There's a 'new' Queen album out soon which features an alternate version of the track "There Must Be More To Life Than This" - except that version features Michael Jackson.
It also has a Queen version of the Freddie solo single "Love Kills".
