OldMod67 5th Nov 2024		CD Album Paul McCartney - Flaming Pie (1997)	Their is another variation (which I've not added as a separate entry) which is almost as this issue, except the disc itself is richer in colour, almost red hued flames. The cat no. is still 724385650024 but contains the Made in Holland notation underneath.

OldMod67 12th Aug 2024		CD Album Bangles - Different Light (1986)	Hi, thanks to all for your info. The CD itself is identical to image 2265804. As to the 'innards', the reverse of the rear cover inlay has (01-026659-10) and yes, the grey tray has 'Patent pending 6.4' It does seem a bit of a mish-mash, but then I remember getting the All Over The Place LP in '84 (I wasn't buying CDs until about 1990) and it was a stamped demo, for UK use but manufactured in Holland. Thanks again to you all for your help.
OldMod67 11th Aug 2024		CD Album Bangles - Different Light (1986)	I've not entered my copy yet as I'm a bit puzzled as to origin. It is almost the same as above, but subtle differences: Although it states 'Made in Holland ' on the back cover, the disc states 'Made in Japan's on the outer ring note. No barcode and catalogue number is the same, but rear cover (top left) under the cat.no, the boxed CB 821 on my copy reads CB 801. If CB stands for CBS product, why the number change? Advice welcome.

Further info states released in UK, but Japan the main market so given an obi band and Japanese lyrics insert. The other two releases on this label are classed as UK releases. 2022 article on Sugarplum release
OldMod67 16th Jun 2024		CD Album Ohio Players - Observations In Time : The Johnny Brantley/Vidalia Productions (2024)	(Images added) Expanded edition of the debut album. The Ohio Players (among others) also played on the Johnny Brantley produced Uptown LP by Gloria Barnes. This included great versions of tracks 16 and 21 above. A vocal version of track 5 appeared on a 45, released under Towanda Barnes Track source details are listed on image of digipack inner (above)

I got quite excited at the thought of a PH collection. Unfortunately no Peel session or their BBC In Concert set, which is a disappointment. Compare The Chords equivalent, which included radio sessions. Judging by the images it looks a cool package. I will probably have to get it.

OldMod67 25th Nov 2023		CD Album The Direct Hits - The Missing Bits Of The Direct Hits (2017)	Not sure if this is just my copy (these are CD-Rs) but track 18, listed on the sleeve as '?' has a skip back on one of the song's lines. The line in question is ' ..very pleased when finds out her chap is..' around 1:16 in.

OldMod67 10th Feb 2023		CD Album Electric Light Orchestra - ELO's Greatest Hits (1986)	I picked up this old edition at a charity shop a few days back. Unfortunately the booklet has been misprinted, slipping through with pages 4,5,8,9,12,13 blank. Mind you, still a bargain at 49p.

The image I've uploaded is a signed copy.
