ppint. 14th Apr 2015		CD Album Johnny Kidd And The Pirates - The Complete Johnny Kidd And The Pirates (1992)	the missing composer credits, recording data, band line-ups and record release information are all contained in the 16pp front insert booklet, provided especially for the ease of the 45worlds moderator adding this album. (it's detailed down even to hmv's matrix numbers and master tapes' cat#s.)
ppint. 14th Apr 2015		CD Album The Small Faces - The Darlings Of Wapping Wharf Launderette (1999)	it's a moot point, i'll "pre-agree", but despite the large (and plentifully plastered) "immediate" logos, i suspect this really ought to be "cdcatted" as the sequel records double cd it actually is - sequel neecd 311; it's not as though castle music ltd. relaunched the immediate label and gave it some semblance of a serious independent existence. elsewise, the rockin' berries' double cd i just cdcatted ought to be attributed to the piccadilly label, for all it's clearly a sequel records neecd cat#ed raid on the inherited archives, and any & all other sequel records - and everyone else's - reuse of historic logos also becomes a separate label... - no? (- and yes, it's a brilliant collection :-) )

ppint. 13th Apr 2015		CD Album The Rockin' Berries - They're In Town (1998)	if you go by the discs, this should be "cdcatted" as being on the piccadilly label - it's far and away the most prominent label/logo on both discs, in prime position (and they both bear the giant hollow "A" of pye group's apcs, albeit on a light primrose background) - even though that label does not now exist, and has not existed for decades - edit: over half a century...

ppint. 9th Apr 2015		CD Album Richard And Linda Thompson - I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight (2004)	produced by richard thompson & john wood, recorded at sound techniques studio, london, engineered by john wood. tracks 1-10 = the original island album, ilps 9266, 1974; tracks 11-13 recorded live at the roundhouse, chalk farm, london and previously unreleased. the insert booklet also lists the musicians playing on the album and their instruments. one of the island remasters series, though reverting to a label design & colour based on the classic "island pink" label.

ppint. 6th Apr 2015		CD Album Dire Straits - Dire Straits (1988)	mods: my 1996 sbm (super bit mapping) "dire straits remastered" edition with the same vertigo cat# and bar-code no. has two "extra" tracks: 8. wild west end & 9. lions. these are also listed on the back insert depicted. remastered by bob ludwig at gateway mastering. disc reverse: 800 051 2 70A (superscript:) made in france by universal m & l (= music & leisure). © 1996 & (p) 1996 on disc as well as back insert. given the remastering, this edition should have its own "cdcat" entry despite having the same vertigo cat# & bar-code no. no?
