The Word 'Chronicle' has gold strata fill in rather than dark in 22598 GEMSFAN's image. Disk is black text on clear background.Back image like this but slate coloured and has barcode in white box

Germany By PDO on the inner ring of the CD it means that the disk was manufactured after January 1986 Quote from Discogs http://www.discogs.com/label/358025-PDO-Germany "German record company with two vinyl and CD manufacturing plants. wordnwot 3rd Jun 2014		CD Album Santana - Abraxas	OC - Yes had it nearly a decade. Plays on your DVD player on DTS settings but not PCM or Dolby Surround settings and delivers Abraxas in Quadrophonic as long as you have the speakers. You can copy them like any CD, but you can't play them on a normal CD player. VLC player can play it on your PC as well, but PC's generally not surround sound set up.

This occurs on coated and early uncoated Polars, so I guess it would be the same for Polydors. I can confirm that my disk has these too.

wordnwot 2nd Jun 2014		CD Album ABBA - The Visitors (1983)	Got it on eBay about 5 years ago from a fellow in Germany. Its selling point was exactly that it was the first commercially made CD in Germany, being to my knowledge the first country outside of Japan making CD's, but I'm no expert guys. Footnote. I worked with a guy whose wife got him a Philips CD player Philips CD100 the day it came out and being also his birthday, and a couple of CDs to start him going. That was March 1983 in the UK. So my point is, I gave the ABBA The Visitors a 1983 date based on that fact! If it was sold in 1982 then how could you play the disk?
