(have also requested that this be changed to Europe, as there was never a UK only release as far as i'm aware, both the EMI Swindon, and Uden pressed releases use the longer European 7243 8 92373 2 0 Cat No. first followed by VSCDT 1484, and, both releases have the European price codes (PM 515 in this case), so UK and Europe therefore Europe.

gregs45s SUBS 17th Mar 2022		CD Single MassMatiks - Gunning For You	Took a chance on this one from a chazza today and it's pretty good stuff, hard to pigeonhole genre-wise, but it's catchy, upbeat Indie/Rock, both tracks standing up well, i think the band hailed from Basingstoke, and seemed to flourish somewhere between 2012-2017?, i think they were deserving of more attention than they may have got, but am unsure as to why they stopped. I see we have a few entries on Live Music world) [YouTube Video] (I've guessed at the label here, HN standing for Hall Or Nothing, i believe they may have been the management company though, having managed the Hives, and Hollows i think, so maybe leave blank?) gregs45s SUBS 6th Mar 2022		CD Single Jeff Beck - Emotion And Commotion (2010)	I don't have the OBI for this one, so not 100% on label/Cat.No. I've looked all over but can't see an obvious Cat.No. (WPCR - 13816 is for the forthcoming album), and so have gone with what's in the matrix. Label-wise, there is only logo's for WEA International Inc. or Warner Music Japan (Dist), but i believe the "stock" album is on Atco So quite happy for (anything;) to be changed.

gregs45s SUBS 20th Dec 2021		CD Single Green Day - Warning (2000)	I'd have to slightly disagree on that one MM, in my experience of promo's the artwork is normally one piece of white paper folded in half, but the Disc is normally placed between these and so is not visible from the front/back. The artwork usually has at least the title/artist/record Co. on the front and is usually plain white on the back, so surely, no matter how bland it is, this is what you see from the front, not the Disc itself?

gregs45s SUBS 6th Apr 2020		CD Single Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (Single Version) (1991)	Good sleuthing MM! Apologies due to you and the submitter. I was convinced Parlophone would not have tied up with Baktabak, as they seem to be unofficial (as mentioned, some are on Discogs, some aren't) but obviously they did. I could also not see how the two would be packaged together, but the Beatles release shows the artwork in a"2-in1" case so Parlophone must have been aware/condoned, although the Queen link shows a separate jewel case (which may not be right of course) so unsure how this particular one was sold in the retail shops. You are right therefore to let the entry stand, and hopefully we can learn a bit more about these "collaborations" 'twixt legal and semi-legal?. (i certainly have ;) Never too proud to admit i was wrong (last time was 1982 i think;) especially on this site, where i for one, learn something new every day ;)
gregs45s SUBS 4th Apr 2020		CD Single Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (Single Version) (1991)	These are all unofficial releases MM, see here, we don't have an Unofficial option at the mo, but it was being discussed in the forum i think (we could do with one i think), either that, or make all these Baktabak's Bootlegs, because as i said, i don't think this has anything to do with Parlophone. Would pay to ask the submitter if the two black stock Parlophone releases came with this release, i wouldn't be surprised if they didn't, and this was a case of a bit of "artistic licence";) (even if they did put the two stock releases in with this, how/where did they fit, all the other Baktabak releases are in a CD album case with rear tray artwork, you can see from the case image that there is only room for two CD's., and i'm sure Parlophone weren't involved;) If there were two Discs as i suspect, we can see the Interview Disc, but it would be good to get a scan of the music Disc as well if poss.

gregs45s SUBS 19th Jul 2019		CD Single Bass Bumpers - The Music's Got Me (Paul Gotel's Banged Up Radio Edit) (1994)	@safcforme Hi,it's certainly true that some "stock" copies of CD Singles (and vinyl) were also used as Promo's by the record companies,by just adding a small Promo sticker to the back,(this was also done by some dodgy record dealers themselves,to add value;) but,in this case,the sticker looks correct,and,it has "Promo Only Not For Sale" on the Disc.so your "stock" copy could be added to the system as it's not on yet. (PS They would normally add a "P" in the Cat.No. somewhere to indicate Promo,but,not always,as in this case) cheers
