plocky45 4th May 2015		CD Single 808 State - In Your Face (Edit) (1991)	I find some of the older CDs can be a bit tricky. With the newer ones you can sometimes find cat. no. for various chart entries, but up to about 1993 the default reference is the 7" single.

plocky45 4th May 2015		CD Single Reef - Come Back Brighter (1997)	This copy has been clipped, probably as a deleted/import copy; perhaps someone will be able to submit an unclipped image in due course. In the UK, the equivalent release was issued in a card sleeve as part of a 2CD set.

According to rwcc.com, 50,000 enquiries were received for this single following Rick's appearance on the National Lottery programme. However, the bank weren't forthcoming with a loan and only 2,000 copies were issued in the end.

I've just checked the disc and clearly I've bought CD1 with the CD2 disc (which seems to have been widely available in Europe). There is no track listing on the disc and I don't have a CD-Rom drive on this computer, but I've played the CD and entered the tracks. Hopefully, someone with the complete CD packaging should be able to add the missing info.

plocky45 30th Oct 2014		CD Single Dance To Tipperary - The 'Bhoys' Are Back In Town (We're All Celtic Crazy) (Radio Edit) (2003)	After doing a little more digging on this one, I'm not sure what country it should be entered under. It appears that this single originally charted in Ireland (Nede is an Irish label) before charting In the UK. Although Celtic are a Scottish football club, they have a strong following in the Irish Republic. I've also seen this single for sale on European websites described as a UK import. The options seem to be Ireland, the UK or Europe, even though the single does not appear to have been on general sale in mainland Europe.

Also, the disc and rear cover show 'Reg. US Pat. and Tm. Off Marcada Registrada'. The rear cover has 'Manufactured by Epic. A division of Sony Music/550 Madison Avenue, New York...'
plocky45 4th Sep 2014		CD Single Madonna - Die Another Day (Radio Edit) (2002)	I've retrieved my copy of the CD to have another look. First of all Biggie Tempo's comments re the catalogue no. are correct. W595CD1 does not appear on the disc or insert, only on the sticker; therefore the cat. no needs changing to 9362 42494-2, as is suggested. The sticker with W595CD1 is confusing because it bears the same bar code. The bit I'm not sure about is the question of the country of release - and I would be interested to know whether any other members have purchased this item outside Germany.
plocky45 3rd Sep 2014		CD Single Madonna - Die Another Day (Radio Edit) (2002)	There's no import sticker on my version and I don't recall there being an import sticker (as a rule I prefer not to remove such stickers). The standard pricing would suggest to me a standard release, excepting that this doesn't constitute proof one way or another. As this is a major artist/seller, I would suggest we await comments from other members in due course, particularly from those with stickered copies. We can then be guided by evidence from members as to the release jurisdiction/s.
