pudgym 6th Aug 2019		CD Single Ann Peebles - Vintage Gold CD3 (1989)	In the late 1980s, major labels here in the U.S.A. forayed a new medium to the general public. The four-tune (but it could be three) three-inch CD single. I questioned where to put this, because it could be considered a CDEP. The medium flopped. Recall, the U.S.A. was still purveying full-sized CDs in "the long box". When these flopped, the discs were cut-out and began turning up in closeout and discount stores like Big Lots and Dollar Tree. As someone who was shopping these stores back then, I bought a bunch of them, even though I did not yet have a CD player.
