Wesley Wales Anderson was born in Houston, Texas. His mother, Texas Ann (Burroughs), is an archaeologist turned real estate agent, and his father, Melver Leonard Anderson, worked in advertising and PR. He has two brothers, Eric and Mel. Anderson's parents divorced when he was a young child, an event that he described as the most crucial event of his brothers and his growing up. During childhood, Anderson also began writing plays and making super-8 movies. He was educated at Westchester High School and then St. John's, a private prep school in Houston, Texas, which was later to prove an inspiration for the film Rushmore (1998).

American TV actress, born 1960.

She debuted on TV in an episode of Miami Vice in 1985. She would go on to appear in various films and TV shows throughout the 1990s, such as Cool Blue, Red Shoe Diaries and the sequel to The Lawnmower Man. Her first film in a lead role was LA Takedown, the film that was the basis for Heat.

Now largely retired from acting, she lives in Miami with her husband and their family, making mermaid tails for girls and young women. She does still, however, make the occasional appearance on TV, most recently in two episodes of General Hospital in 2018, and also acted in The 3Tails Movie, a promotional film for her daughters' YouTube channel.
