Saw this on telly when it came out as a child and it was wonderful. Grown ups, groaned about the suitability of the time slot (Xmas or New Year's Eve) and the appropriateness of the content. Meanwhile, kids like me lapped it up and thought the kerfuffle over the show was typical of the hoo-hah that older generation perpetrated. Now to more important matters, Magic Marmalade I think you've stolen my third person. This is serious because I don't want the police knocking on my door for something your third person has done. So is the "he" really me or ye, or "My Friend Jack" as I sometimes call him?

"he" is actually contemplating listening to nice bit of Bach in a bit.

"he" has even bought a packet of Beef flavoured Monster Munch today that "he" has stashed for the occasion.

Yup...livin' the life.

Biscuits as well?!?! You....sorry, "your friend" truly is a hellraiser!

In spite of the twenty+ years of mental agony that followed the experience, "he" maintains it was worth while, if only "he" could remember it clearly!

...actually, now that "he" thinks about it, "he" thinks he'd rather stick with a Bourbon biscuit or two, and a cuppa "himself".

I think that's where I'm going wrong. I've been watching it while drinking copious amounts of tea and it still makes no sense.

I've not added any TV or cinema yet, but I'd say if you were able to select "TV Movie" for the format, it seems right.

(While I would never condone the use of drugs, "a friend of mine" :) informs me that the use of LSD makes it all make sense, even going so far as to suggest that I Am The Walrus in like condition is the most extraordinary musical experience "he" has ever had)

Wasn't sure if this belongs on 'Cinema' world or 'TV' world. I'm hoping 'TV Movie' adequately covers this little curiosity...

Filmed in part on the old West Malling Airfield (Now built over for the most part with a town: King's Hill).

...Very near me, and I've been meaning to get lost that way for a while now, so might venture that way soon and poke my nose in places it shouldn't perhaps ought to be.
