Produced in tribute to the 1938 radio production of War of the Worlds, this is a simulated newscast depicting three mysterious asteroid impacts on earth and the apocalyptic aftermath. Originally broadcast with disclaimers that the events of the film were not really happening; the cast included numerous real-life journalists appearing as themselves including top-billed Vanocur and Walker Lampley.

23skidoo ● 3rd Jun 2015		Saw this the night it first aired. Of course they loaded it with ringers like Q from Star Trek so people paying attention knew it wasn't real, but I still remember getting a panic phone call from a friend who thought the world was really coming to an end!
