albert 18th May 2019		Great picture and sound. I had the original Criterion double DVD but found the picture a little too bright and the sound was very hissy, I had the UK Film Noir 'cigarette' boxset version and found the picture a little dark, I had a good one from Denmark which I would have kept if I hadn't got this one (it came in a boxset). So this is my preferred DVD.
