Home Alone The Complete Collection - 20th Century Fox (2008)
This Is claiming 103 minutes for Home Alone 1. All UK copes either VHS or DVD or Blu-Ray are 98 minutes. Even thought this Is till edited Original running time Is 115 minutes. Still the longest version on any Commercial release format. Then again I came across one that was claiming 100 minutes only after timing the Film alone. It was still 98 Minutes. might be still the case here???. H.

Just watched this and It Is very good. I was thinking Blackadder then one of them said. "Isn't that right Dr Johnson" And I fell off the chair. I was expecting one of them to say "The Big Brown Paper thing Wrapped up In String" Wonderful. I spotted Jimmy Somerville, Toby James, and a few others now Big Stars. This truly Is a Must See Film. DVD
Saving Private Ryan - Paramount (2000)
@YankeeDisc. Ok first thing Is DTS (Digital Theatre Sound) Is not Necessarily Better. I have DTS Mono Movies and DTS Stereo ones to. All It does Is give You the Sound You would Hear In the Cinema. I find the sound on some Movies using DTS Is harsh and Distorted unless You are using Expensive Proper Atos Speakers and Dedicated Amp. I would just Stick to the Dolby Digital 5.1 or 7.1 (There Is no such thing) just the Back two are In Stereo Instead of Mono In some systems. We have come a long way from Pro-Logic Surround Sound. The Sound Is only as good as the Original Print. Same goes for the Net Curtain effect on Older Films. H.

The Evil Dead Trilogy - Studiocanal (2013)
Love the Evil Dead Movies. Probably the Funniest horrors of all Time. Magic. They are Edited like all the others?. Evil Dead 1 Is cropped by 1 Minute Original time was 90 Mins. Evil Dead 2 Is still 84 Mins. Army of Darkness should have been 109 Mins. Oh dear what a Opportunity to put these Films together with top Quality Sound and Vision and they drop the Ball again. So Sad. They did the same with the Warriors. Apart from VHS versions.. H.

Star Wars - CBS / Fox (1989)
@GEMSMFAN. I watched It on Laserdisc. and It was Great. You could hire a Player and films for the Night. The player was a Philips top Loader Like loading a record on to a Player. You had to Turn the disc over to see the rest of the Film. I Think the Player was £10 and the Disc's were a Average of £1 for the Doubles and £0.89p for the Singles. Great Days. H.
