The Complete Black Books - Kaleidoscope (2004)
Hiding in plain sight I see on the spine, back cover and inconspicuously right below the centre of each DVD. Thanks VJ for pointing out the obvious so kindly.

The Rutles - Prism Leisure (2005)
This was shown in the cinema in Australia as a short accompanying "The Life of Brian" when it came out in 1979. In 1975 when when "The Holy Grail" came out it was preceded by "Romance with a Double Bass" another excellent Python shorter film.

The Girl On A Motorcycle - Metrodome (2001)
Review
Fun for all the family? There is some tension in this film but really it's all about watching Marianne Faithful ride a motorbike in skin tight black leather. Nothing wrong with that of course but does it really deserve the cult following it has? I'm sure some of you will say yes but it is a no from me. The movie is easy on the eyes but there is little else in it of any substance here to keep the viewer entertained.

I presume this is a region 4 release but no information was present on the DVD or packaging so I left that field blank and the region is listed as none for that reason.

Harold And Maude - Paramount (2012)
Ooh, I have been busy today. I've been to four different worlds and made a significant contribution to all them. I hereby declare myself Master Of The Universe and I think that after all my work in Interstellar Overdrive I might have a nice cup of tea and a biscuit.

Bowie: A Reality Tour - Sony Music Entertainment (2004)
The DVD is actually just plain silver with black ink but my scanner did this to it. It's kinda cool really and looks as though it's part of the design but it's not. So if your looking at this and thinking why isn't my disc like the image I have posted here don't worry nor is mine.

Divine Madness - Virgin (2002)
This version released in Australia so I've added a tag "Released in Australia". Is this the correct approach?

Best Of Bowie - EMI (2002)
This set was also released in Australia exactly as it appears so should it be International? I'll add it was not made in Australia it was this actual release that was distributed in Australia.

What a rip off there's not one Bette Midler song on the whole thing!

Blazing Saddles - Warner Home Video (2004)
This and "The Producers" are my two favourite Mel Brooks films along with my other two favourites "High Anxiety" and "Silent Movie".

The Young Ones: Series One - ABC (2002)
This Australian version comes with handy instructions on how to get the disc out of the packaging. We are so clever down here in Australia.

The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash - Umbrella Entertainment (2004)
Rated 10/10
Rutland's Drab Four update their haircuts and wardrobe several times then recycle their overly familiar back catalogue in this rockumentary that is so bad it's laughable. The film tells the tale of the band from their humble beginnings through to their huge slip up with the Banana label. However, it's a story we all know to well and quite frankly has been done better by others - just like the Rutles' songs. Rutles fans consider this film to be a masterpiece but for the rest of us it's just a very long joke. Rated 910 (the One After ...).

Johnny Thunders Live In Cold Blood - Warner Vision Australia (2002)
Rated 2/10
The cover shot shows Johnny modeling his new straight to the brain technique of banging up. The back cover shows the powerful effect this technique delivers and probably explains why Johnny didn't deliver on this 1982 half hour set. Johnny was always unpredictable live, sometimes hopeless and unable to function (eg. this set), messy but hilarious and fun or mindblowingly brilliant. Unfortunately this DVD is document of Johnny as a humourless pathetic junkie that doesn't know what's going on. On the upside - it's only half an hour long.

Iggy Pop ‎– Kiss My Blood - Live At The Olympia 1991 (2003)
A reasonable live Iggy show, great by other artists standards but there are much better DVDs of Iggy live.

Gorillaz - Demon Days (2006)
I went to link this to the UK release of the same DVD but found no such option in this world. Is there a reason for this in this DVD world? The UK version and this one have different barcodes and cat#s so they are not the same release but they can't be linked. Sorry to bring my otherworldly habits to this world but I just thought it would be nice to link the different versions.

The Cramps Live At Napa State Mental Hospital - Target Video (2004)
The most disturbing 20mins of Rock 'n' Roll ever filmed? Most likely it is and like a train wreck you can't look away. The Cramps are in fine form live but it is the crowd and their interaction with the band that steal the show here.

High Anxiety - 20th Century Fox (2010)
I'm with cptbeefheart on this one, along with The Producers, Blazing Saddles and Silent Movie it's one Mel Brooks' best efforts. You do have to know Hitchcock's work though to get full value from this film.

Dr. Feelgood ‎Going Back Home - EMI (2005)
I knew there was a reason I don't have a copy "Stupidity" and this is it. It is the DVD of parts of the show used to record the "Stupidity" album and it is short but great. The accompanying CD of the whole show is good but not as startling as one might imagine due mainly to poor mastering in my opinion. It could just be due to the flatness of sound that CDs seem to have when analogue tapes are digitised but the CD is definitely missing the Oomph (sorry to get technical) of the vinyl album.
