mikerhyl SUBS 6th Aug 2020		Live Music Harry Fryer And His Orchestra @ South Parade Pier (1943)	Petula was only 10 years old at this engagement .Harry Fryer had given Petula her first “professional “appearance in Bentalls Kingston escalator hall where his orchestra would play and she sang for him there for a week around 1940..paid with toffees and a wrist watch ! That was before her first radio appearance for the BBC Empire Service in October 1942
