| Rolica 28th Jun 2020 |  | Live MusicSoft Machine @ Burton Constable Hall (1970) | Soft Machine and Free made uneasy bedfellows. The audience had mostly come to see Free and SM's set was only offered polite applause. Free - probably at their best at this time - came on in the small hours of this all-nighter and raised the rafters. One of the best concerts I ever saw. |
| Rolica 28th Jun 2020 | | Live MusicDeep Purple @ Hull City Hall (1970) | Deep Purple didn't show. They cancelled at the last minute because they were on Top of The Pops. Bastards! The concert promoters - The Hull Brick Company - offered a full refund if the audience left or a partial refund if they stayed and just watched Quintessence, which most did. They were marvellous! |
