albert 12th May 2017		Looking through old music papers I find the shifting live music scene in London quite interesting as venues change their music policies or even stop putting on live music altogether. Prior to this date you would be hard pushed to see a triple billing of indie bands at the venue, in fact you would probably more likely to have seen the kind of 'never signed' relic acts plodding on and passing round the hat for beer money. Sadly I saw last week that The Bull & Gate has finally reopened as a terrible snobbish/up market kind of bar/coffee place, obviously no bands, but I suppose the location cannot compete against the now trendy Shoreditch/Old Street area.
