 Hi Lee, my enjoyment of the gig was kinda dampened by the young, mainly French expatriot audience - I had a seat on level one and when the band appeared the 2 rows in front of me all stood up and proceeded to woop and feverishly clap and bounce about like hyperactive five year olds, thus forcing everybody behind to stand up too - for the entire gig. You would think that the band were super exciting, but regrettably they mostly stood knob-twiddling beside programmed synths, ...and also they mainly played the new stuff that we hadn't yet heard. To be fair they had been going for about 5 years and were probably tired of the tracks from Psycho Tropical Berlin, but the new stuff that I heard did not tempt me to buy their then new Mystere album at the merch stall. (I did eventually buy the album in the sales, two years later, and it is disappointing compared to the brilliance of PTB). I'd say the band were average on the day, the female singer is poor live, and the reliance on synths was a let down. Still they were better than the support band.

 Hey Albert what were La Femme like? I quite like them but have never seen them live. They have only toured Australia once and did not come anywhere near where I live.

 The support band were called 'Loose Meat' and sounded like they'd been studious pupils of terrible TV show Rockschool
