I don't count ANY TV shows like Sullivan as being "gigs" - true, they're live performances but they're part of TV shows - they were not shows in public for a paying audience. I hope I'm not sounding rude or anything like that since I appreciate the time and energy into making this a definitive resource for all live Beatles information.

Interesting. When Jeff Lynne joined The Move in January 1970, The Move's days as a live band were almost over since they didn't do many gigs with him. Interesting to see that one of those rare gigs had them supported by Lynne's former band - gets one wondering if Jeff joined his former bandmates for a number or two.

lol... Sid and Eddie "two bright young men"! Not a description many would agree with as they found fame as the dreaded "Little and Large!"

Lets Rock Southampton @ Southampton Common
Good grief... looking at the acts listed, this looks like the festival from Hell! Rock? The Beat are about as close to that but it's pure fluffy pop mostly. Be interesting to observe how these shows go down! If they changed the title of the show and made the advertising more garish, I could see something like this maybe selling out.

Yes, those old 60's package shows - usually twice nightly too - crammed a lot into them so some acts were lucky to have enough time to perform 2 or 3 songs... maybe thats why they were so short back then! I think when the famous 1967 tour with Jimi Hendrix, The Move, Amen Corner and Pink Floyd came along, Floyd had something like a 17 minute spot... which didn't go down too well with the pop punters since they tended to play long versions of "Interstellar Overdrive"!
