While rock 'n' roll is my primary interest, I enjoy a wide range of recorded music. I especially enjoying the evolution of a song from its roots -- Delta Blues, 'hillbilly', folk, traditional -- through different iterations to rock by any one of the leading or minor artists of the second half of the 20th century.

While I prefer the seven-inch, 45 rpm vinyl, I also have a number of LPs. I am less enthusiastic about 78 rpm versions but seldom pass by an opportunity to pick up good disks.

I prefer to purchase my records in consignments. Always happy to part with any that others may like to have to complete a collection.
