Chris mc cormack 13th Aug 2018		78 RPM Shaun O'Nolan - Dan McCann / The Boys Of The County Cork	I have uploaded and linked this to youtube below. On the first side Wicklow, Ireland tenor Shaun O'Nolan sings a song about a Galway man who went to America in the year of 1851 and fought in the American civil war. [YouTube Video] On the second side Shaun O'Nolan sings an Irish republican song of the time in which he sings about the Black and Tans who left the country about 5 years before this song was recorded. Possibly first recording to say the words 'black and tans.' [YouTube Video]

A drumhead service is a religious service attended by members of a military unit while in the field. Seeing as this record is from 1915, its possible it was used in the first World War. [YouTube Video]
