Dave Hayes 11th Oct 2019		Live Music Lynyrd Skynyrd @ Oxford Polytechnic	The sophisticated flourishing musical talent of the late sixties and early seventies brought about the prog rock era with a wealth of British bands that ruled the music world, Pink Floyd, Yes, Led Zep, Wishbone Ash, B.J.Harvest, but where is the talent today ??? There’s nothing, but that magnificent era lives on in my memories and my record collection, I lived that era with pride, and unlike as they say about the sixties, I can say Yes I was there, enjoying live gig, after live gig, with music written by geniuses, true talent, and songs we shall never know the like of again.
Dave Hayes 11th Oct 2019		Live Music Lynyrd Skynyrd @ Oxford Polytechnic	Lynyrd Skynyrd with the original lineup played Oxford Polytechnic backed by Sutherland Brothers and Quiver on Nov 3rd 1975. It was a phenomenal night, probably the best live performance I ever saw. 17 then, 60 now, Superb band
