Harvey Randall 17th Feb 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumBob Dylan - Blonde On Blonde | Sorry, but no way was this released in May in the UK! It was not available in UK shops until August 1966, following the release of the 'Rainy Day Women' and 'I Want You' singles in May and July respectively- why else would the original front cover declare the album to feature those 2 hits?.
Mod edit - date now changed

Harvey Randall 29th Mar 2015 | | Vinyl AlbumBob Dylan - Greatest Hits | This UK release was played at a New Year's Eve gathering I attended on December 31, 1966. There was some surprise that the cover listed the timing of the single edit of 'Rainy Day Women' but played the full-length album version! The album charted in the UK on January 15, 1967, which is consistent with a release date during the final week of 1966 & accounts for why some sites give it a 1967 release date despite having been pressed in 1966 as clearly stated on the labels.
