The song was published by D Davis & Co (Aust). The Dale Evans recording, released in 1949 on Varsity label, was recorded at Majestic Studios in New York in December 1947. It was 'unissued' by Majestic and subsequently released on 78rpm on the Varsity label in 1949. Captain Stubby and the Buccaneers provided the backing music for the Dale Evans recording of Kiss Kiss Kissin' in the Corn (With Orchestra Accomp.) Dale Evans recorded ‘Kiss Kiss Kissin' in the Corn’ for a second time in 1949. This was released on ‘Dale Evans With Orchestra’ 45rpm EP329. The backing music, provided by Captain Stubby and the Buccaneers for the Majestic/Varsity 78rpm recording in 1947, was rejigged for the 1949 recording. From 1956 onwards, the title for Dale Evans releases of ‘Kiss Kiss Kissin in the Corn’ was changed to ‘Kiss Kiss Kissin' in the Korn’. This spelling of 'Korn' has appeared on LP, CD, iTunes and various other digital file sites. The second Dale Evans recording is on all releases, with the exception of the original 78rpm recording.
