He worked as a songwriter and got to know the musicians and poets who were making Liverpool famous.
He was there as a tidal wave of popular culture flowed out of his city and changed the world.
When writing ‘Blame It On The Beatles … And Bill Shankly’, which is a love story and coming of age tale set in nineteen sixties Liverpool, where you will meet The Beatles and other well-known people, he has drawn upon many of his teenage experiences.
