Various Artists - Honeys		I have a feeling I saw this in my local branch of Harlequin in 1972, and it uses the '72 Melodisc label format - it was certainly no later than `74 I'm sure.

A strange beast certainly - what was the compiler thinking! Can't have played my copy in 30 years but looking at the tracklist I'm disappointed that it isn't 'You're Wondering Now' on there. I think they also slipped up with crediting B5 to Lennon/McCartney on the label. Typical Melodisc shambles.

Joe's All Stars - Brixton Cat		Thanks John - I must have missed that when I last played my copy of both my vinyl and CD, although I do remember the line that goes something like 'people call me....... Mad Man Mad' and thinking 'eh?' I probably just thought it was one of those things where the title wasn't in the lyrics but was implied if you get me.

I also recall this was one of a handful of Trojan albums from the time with a 'squeak' in one channel, probably only if played through a stereo amp.

The Kinks - Golden Hour Of The Kinks, Vol. 2		Much appreciate the response edlongus. TBH, I'm a mono kinda guy when it comes to 60s tracks so try and avoid the format for such albums if I can (I do have a stereo amp but with no mono/stereo switch!). As reported elsewhere I bought a Foundations' LP on Marble Arch which I was led to believe was mono but was in fact stereo and sounded HORRIBLE! The vocal on 'Baby Now That I've Found You' sounded like one of those budget album covers.

Have to say though that these Golden Hour sets do look to offer tremendous value.
