After a 31-year Primary teaching career I now spend most of my time thinking about old cars, old guitars and pop records from the late '50s/early '60s.

Moderne 8th Nov 2020		Vinyl Album Duane Eddy - Especially For You....	The version of Just Because on the stereo issue of this LP has an extra (piano) verse not included on the mono issue.
Moderne 8th Nov 2020		Vinyl Album The Shadows - The Best Of The Shadows	The version of Maroc 7 on this record has the spoken introduction - as featured on the demo disc issued only to cinemas, and known as Talking Maroc 7.
Moderne 8th Nov 2020		Vinyl Album Duane Eddy - The Legends Of Rock	Despite a sticker saying that Historic Mono recordings had been used, the tracks from Duane's 1st LP (Have Twangy Guitar Will Travel) are dubbed from a (rather scratchy) stereo record. I thought there was something wrong with the record when I first played it (in 1978 - aged 14)!
