I own OMEN Records (Australia) and I specialize in New Zealand rock albums and 45s, particularly from the sixties and seventies. I have a very large collection of New Zealand albums from this era and I intend to upload them all eventually - although it will take a long time!

vinylsol 14th Dec 2014		Vinyl Album The Chicks - C'mon Chicks	From 1968, this was the Chicks' third album and their first for Polydor. They'd left Viking and management was taken over by Ray Columbus who produced the album and wrote the sleeve notes.
vinylsol 13th Dec 2014		Vinyl Album The Chicks - The Chicks Second Album	The second of two albums the Chicks made for Ron Dalton'sViking, before moving to Polydor for their last two albums. The album is called 'The Chicks Second Album' on the label but on the sleeve this is reduced to 'The Chicks 2nd Album'. The song 'Hang On Sloopy' is credited to Russe/Farrell - this is incorrect, as it was written by Wes Farrell and Bobby RUSSELL not Russe. The credit for 'Love Is Strange' reads 'South Baker'.
vinylsol 10th Nov 2014		Vinyl Album The Chicks - The Sound Of...The Chicks	Debut album from sisters Sue and Judy Donaldson, 1965 - the LP contains no recording information at all.
vinylsol 10th Nov 2014		Vinyl Album David Bowie - Hunky Dory	This 1990 reissue came in a gatefold sleeve with an obi strip, and a one-sided 12inch extra disc containing "Bombers" (recorded 1971 and previously unreleased), "The Supermen', an alternate version of the track from 'The Man Who Sold The World', a demo version of "Quicksand" and an alternate mix of "The Bewlay Brothers". Both records were pressed on clear vinyl.
vinylsol 9th Nov 2014		Vinyl Album Nash Chase - A Portrait Of Nash Chase	This 1974 compilation is essentially a reissue of Nash's 1972 album, 'Handle With Care', with the addition of two tracks, 'Maria Isabella' and 'Spanish Eyes'.
