TopPopper 19th Jan 2018		Magazine The Saturday Evening Post (1964)	It's interesting how public perception changes. The ad does have some truth - sugar is a vital nutrient. It reminds me of an old TV ad I saw where the guy was flogging a kids' toy - "it's not made of cardboard, no. It's made of tough, long-lasting plastic." Again, fair point about plastic!

TopPopper 1st Oct 2017		Magazine Radio Times (1966)	After a long wait, I've gone ahead and changed it to 1966. Not a hundred percent sure of the year, but it's definitely no earlier than that due to the photo on the front. 1966 seems very likely.

Their 'tribute' is surprisingly brief - just a couple of sides of quotes from people who knew him, and from the newspapers. I'd have thought they would have at least dedicated all the new copy to him. Even as it went to print, his singles were stacked up at the top of the UK singles charts.

TopPopper 4th Oct 2015		Magazine Record Collector (1968)	In response to these comments, and the change requests, I decided to merge the two titles into one (that could always be undone in the unlikely event it turns out to be wrong). So, they are effectively the same publication but each copy retains its cover title rather than being changed to something not printed thereon. Hope this is good.
