albert 22nd Sep 2024		Music Memorabilia Rock On - Record Bag (2023)	The new Rock On record shop, not in London but in Stamford, Lincolnshire. Record bag is a reworked version of the one they used during the latter days of when they were based in Camden, London.
albert 2nd Oct 2023		Music Memorabilia My Bloody Valentine - Glider, Official (1991)	MBV were selling this T-shirt at the end of 1991 and I saw them live at the Town & Country Club in December 1991. However because of a problem with commission the band decided that they were not going to sell any merchandise inside of the venue, and instead had people giving out handbills outside. (see handbill here) So I bought the T-shirt via mail order. If you did want a T-shirt on that night there were plenty of cowboys selling counterfeits along the pavement outside (all with typically terrible 'tour date' designs).
albert 2nd Oct 2023		Music Memorabilia Cranes - Statue With Alphabet Surround	Circa 1990-92, I think. Bought at one of their early London gigs, maybe at the Powerhouse. I vividly recall they had a screen projection with images of old mechanical clocks, scrolling text, and such.
albert 2nd Oct 2023		Music Memorabilia Flinch - Sliver/glitter 'Fake' Design (1995)	Rare T-shirt from Flinch, which I think I bought at their Water Rats gig 8 July 1995. In reference to the band's 'Faking' single, the design is probably a rip-off, guessing Adidas. However the T-shirt is 100% genuine Flinch. Printing on front & back, I did not wear it much, the glitter quite readily drops off.
albert 2nd Oct 2023		Music Memorabilia Velvet Underground - Official Tour 1993 Reunion (1993)	Bought at their Wembley gig 6 June 1993. I think there were just 2 designs to chose from, the usual large Warhol banana, and this one, and in 2 colours white or black. Despite looking like a pirate T-shirt (tour dates on the back), this is the genuine official article.

albert 2nd Oct 2023		Music Memorabilia Stereolab - 'Cliff' Design (1992)	I bought this T-shirt either at their Russell Arms (Mornington Crescent) gig 09 June 1992, or their Union Tavern (Camberwell) gig 09 July 1992. I did not particularly like the bright red colour so I tie-dyed it with a darker blood red or purple dye, Stereolab did had some fairly awful colours for their T-shirts, guessing that they bought the shirts cheaply, certainly cheapo quality, thin cotton, the logo looks like it is silk-screened. Yes, cheapo quality, hence why it is all out of shape.

albert 19th Dec 2018		Music Memorabilia Uranium Club - Atlas With Chicken Globe (2018)	The band are also known as The Minneapolis Uranium Club Band. This T-shirt was bought at their London, Boston Arms gig 27 Nov 2018, where they were also selling a tour poster depicting a large cut-out pencil.

albert 3rd Dec 2018		Music Memorabilia Baby Silvertooth - Baby Silvertooth	Originally a dark green T-shirt with silver lettering on the back and a silver tooth on the front decal. My idiot flatmate managed to destroy the colours and silver highlights when he boil-washed his scrappy IKEA rug, forgetting to empty the washing machine of my clothes before his wash.
albert 18th Nov 2018		Music Memorabilia The Grates - Pine Tree & Squirrel (2006)	Bought at the band's London Buffalo Bar gig 14 February 2006. I think the band brought the t-shirts with them, they had a few cutesy designs, all in small/skinny-fit sizes, I knew that the t-shirt would not fit me but the merchandise sellers insisted that it would. The t-shirt was made in China of very cheap quality and as usual the Chinese idea of 'large' is very different to the Western World's idea of large. The t-shirt did not fit.

You may recognise the ladies legs which mysteriously became part of the original 7" picture sleeve, but that was because the original design for the 12" single had the ladies holding the photo of the band, until that 12" sleeve got scrapped. you can get this t-shirt, the original poster and a whole lot more goodies direct from Alan Mair at the official Only Ones website.

albert 18th Nov 2018		Music Memorabilia The Pattern - Bird Of Prey (2001)	I think I bought this at the band's London Garage gig 4 September 2001, I did see the band twice. The Pattern were an American band, I think they had their own label (Lookout records), ? but I could be wrong ?, they did sign to a UK label for record distribution around this time. It is a UK tour T-shirt, made in Ireland.

albert 18th Nov 2018		Music Memorabilia Killing Joke - New York 1980/81 NYD (Reprint)	I bought this online, shop redirected from Killing Joke's website, so it is official. This is a reprint of Killing Joke's T-shirt that was sold at their early New York gigs over New Years Day 1980-1981. Though it is a great design the original T-shirts had the image much larger - pretty much covering the whole of the front of the shirt.
albert 18th Nov 2018		Music Memorabilia The Dead Kennedys - Holiday In Cambodia (Holiday Inn)	I bought this online, there is a licencing note below the design, so it is official. Even though this is an official item the quality control in manufacturing has been sloppy - some dimwit has slightly rotated the image to try to put the "Cambodia" text on less of an angle, and also positioned the star towards the centre at the top, generally throwing the whole design off to one side.
