kab2112 SUBS 16th Oct 2017		Music Memorabilia Def Leppard - Concert Tour Programme (1987)	I had my car stolen from a car park along with several others while we were at the gig. When we went down to Longsite police station, (Apparently this is where they brought Myra Hindley & Ian Brady for questioning) the place was full of people who had lost cars both at the gig and from the Bellvue greyhound race meeting. No-one was impressed by the cops, some of whom were playing darts in plain view. Nice car - never to be seen again (by me) Four of us had been into central Manchester during the afternoon and had quite a few goodies locked in the boot. (trunk to you guys in the USA)
kab2112 SUBS 16th Oct 2017		Music Memorabilia Genesis - Concert Tour Programme (1980)	I seem to remember that those of us who were inside the Liverpool Empire were quickly shepherded out due to a bomb scare (false alarm). This meant that we had to spend more time in the bar next door - Oh dear !!! The concert then went on as normal, but a little later.

Unfortunately I felt that they did not capture the live spirit in the recording studio and the albums were OK at best - but they were one of many bands who could do it live.

kab2112 SUBS 31st Oct 2015		Music Memorabilia [none] - City Music Berlin Plastic bag for 7" records	Just got back from a stay in Berlin and visited the City Music Store in Kurfürstendamm. It's still the biggest in Berlin (so it claims) and has a huge selection of Vinyl, CDs, DVDs, Books etc. I spent quite a while looking round and bought some CDs. My overall impression was that it was quite pricey and sad to say that many of the items can be bought online at a much lower cost. Probably the main reason (along with downloads) for the demise of record and music stores

He looked huge but probably wasn't. He was top of the bill with about 5 or 6 supporting acts. Sadly, he passed away in 2013
kab2112 SUBS 3rd Mar 2015		Music Memorabilia The Beatles - Newspaper Article (1994)	It's a bit of a pity that uploaded full page newspaper articles are restricted to the same size as say - pin badges. These articles are sometimes very good but nigh impossible to read as they are reduced greatly in size. Such was the case with the images that I added to the forum about the demise of vinyl, which was very interesting, but very difficult to read because of the reduction in size for uploading.

I do the same with 7" vinyl. I'm more of a hoarder than a collector and my wife continually reminds me of this.
