Magic Marmalade 8th Mar 2015		Music Memorabilia Dodgy - Dodgy Branded Mini Football (1996)	I had an argument with the woman who sold this to me in 96, when I went in Woolworths to get the CD... I'd just come out of work on a very hot day, was tired, and just wanted to get home with CD in my work trousers pocket, and not have to tote this around, ... so said: "No Thanks, I'll just have the CD" She would let me go without it though: "It Comes with the CD, and we have to give one to everyone who buys the album" after several "No Thank Yous", she still wouldn't take no for an answer, and at the point of losing my temper just said: "Fine!", grabbed it, and went my way. Glad she stuck with it though, as I've not seen another around since! So thank you Mrs Woolworths lady, and belated apologies for my being difficult.

Magic Marmalade 13th Feb 2015		Music Memorabilia The Springfields - Two Date Concert Programme At Sandown Pavilion And Shanklin Theatre (1963)	I say, that's remarkable Holmes! Absolutely agree, and have changed date accordingly. This was my folks', they used to go to Isle of Wight with Uncles and Aunts early sixties, they are vague about dates, except for the poster I'm trying to find of a date in 1969 featuring Bob Dylan... will put it up when I locate it. Holmes offered me a brief glance, then turned his attention back to the sheet music on the stand. Resting his chin upon the violin, he took up his bow once more, and continued as if I'd never interrupted him, and closing the door, It was the vigorous rendition of Purple Haze that accompanied me out the front door... A sound I am not likely to forget for a very, very, long time.

The cord on this is still dirty from the mud and rain as I felt so bad when I got back, the prog, this, and the phone card just went immediately in the drawer, and only got moved from there to a box sometime about 2000. ... I might still have a piece of Taco from there still! (he he he) If you dig yours out nboldock and have a look at the artists playing that year it makes your eyes water... And the Phoenix one I've just uploaded from the following year. All the artists I missed!!!!

I'm constantly amazed by the things people know around here. If you do a search (image search) for: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band sew on badge, there are a couple of images of variants of this, and in better condition too in a couple of cases. Only the Pope and Elvis probably come close to having as much stuff made for each individual thing they do. I'm kind of hoping other variations will be added here, perhaps find out who made them.

Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Patch (1967)	I did have a little hunt around on the net for info about it a year or two back, and did find a couple of others on some other site... they had subtle variations in the colour of stitching in the background, writing, and borders... but no dates. So I'm taking My aunt's word for it. Will not be offended in the least if she's wrong, I'd rather know the facts.
