I have no problem with burning books)or magazines) to keep warm , much stuff that hit the printers is not worth the time reading , is full of incorrectness or debauchery. Having said that they should be reviewed first in case there are some rare books. Oxfam pulp and sell some for insulation. I picked a couple of books out the bin of the private flats over the road , sold one yesterday - meanwhile my bought in books languished untouched at the book fair. Paul - beware of old 78 record players ( see vintage-radio.net) as many can cost you more to properly get working , try some of the USB turntables ( with a 78 sapphire needle ) less heavy to move around and you can easily store to your computer ). My music centres need taking apart and re-greasing etc , but I don't have the space to store all the little bits while I am doing that. 78s at 20p, yes I would go for them , round here charity shops and boot fair sellers seem to think £1 each is a fair price ( prob is but its over my budget ).
